Which ad got the most views during DNC?

It is the season of conventions, with DNC concluding last week and RNC kicking off today. So we will start with a convention quiz question.

Which advertisement got the most views during the DNC last week? (Hint: It belongs to a mortgage company)

You have to read till the end to find the answer.

As we all know the US CARES Act has been a great saviour for borrowers, but what about the Servicers? In the normal course, a mortgage servicer collects payments from borrowers and is entitled to foreclose a loan if it goes into default. The CARES Act prevents Servicers from foreclosing the default mortgages, but does nothing to Servicers obligations to pay lenders. Understandably, mortgage Servicers are under stress.

Chart of the week - Mortgage delinquencies increased 386 basis points to reach 8.22 percent in Q2 –the highest overall delinquency rate in nine years. Check out how this compares with the historical high reached during the aftermath of the great recession.

Video of the week - Mike Fratantoni, Chief Economist of MBA discusses mortgage forbearance. I met him at a conference and he makes the otherwise boring market outlook forecasts bearable :)

Now, to the quiz question -

Rocket Mortgage's "Queen" got the most on air ad views during DNC. Interestingly another ad "Together" from the same lender, took #3 spot as well.

I personally liked the "Together" ad better. The expression on the dad's face is priceless and you will like the background score too. Check it out.

Your house brought you together, may be too much. Together may be great, but together with more space is better.

Cheers.
